Because we are local we can focus on the needs of our shippers on a JIT (Just-In-Time) basis, while giving them access to the national rail system. In addition our switching charges are usually absorbed by our Class I connection, providing you a single through rate. Canton serves a diverse customer base that takes full advantage of this service. Canton Logistics Services: Bulk Logistic/Transload Services are available through our Boston Street Bulk Terminal (BSBT). This facility provides bulk transfer of commodities to/from truck and ISO Containers for distribution.
