The Canton Railroad Company, located in Baltimore City and County, Maryland is a rail logistics provider that offers freight services to industrial, manufacturing and port related shippers. Formally founded in 1906, the Canton Railroad was born of a tradition which stretches back to Peter Cooper and the founding B&O, the nation's first railroad, in 1828. Eventually the Canton Railroad Company would be created to serve the industrial heartland of Baltimore. Nearly 100 years later the Canton Railroad Company still offers its customers, fast and reliable rail service, distribution and logistics options, while, at the same time, doing it safely and efficiently.
